Ronda Rousey saw the numbers, and she did not waste time taking a victory lap.

Rousey jumped on X after ratings came out for UFC Freedom 250, the White House event that had been getting plenty of attention before it aired. Rousey had already made it clear during the lead-up to her MMA return for Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions that she was not impressed with the UFC card, saying the show sucked.

Then the numbers dropped, and Rousey’s MVP MMA1 return fight came out looking stronger. UFC Freedom 250 averaged 8.2 million viewers across the United States and Latin America. MVP MMA1, which featured Rousey’s return fight, averaged 9.3 million viewers in the United States and 12.4 million viewers globally.

Once that started making the rounds, Rousey reacted on X and aimed her shot directly at UFC Chief Business Officer Hunter Campbell.

“Lmao! Kiss my ass Hunter Campbell 😜”

That was all she needed to say. The post came in response to a Complex article pointing out that UFC Freedom 250’s White House spectacle could not top the ratings for Rousey vs. Gina Carano. Rousey clearly enjoyed that one, especially after previously criticizing the UFC event before it happened.

Rousey didn’t just beat UFC in the ratings game — she rubbed their nose in it. Freedom 250 had the White House, the UFC machine, and all the hype behind it, but Rousey still had the bigger number. So when she saw Hunter Campbell’s name attached to the conversation, she fired off the kind of tweet that needs no translation.

Do you think Ronda Rousey had every right to take that shot at Hunter Campbell, or should she have let the ratings speak for themselves? Let us know what you think in the comments.
