Rob Van Dam is getting back in the ring, and he wants fans to know this one is really happening. RVD confirmed that he will wrestle at Titan Mania in Mexico on September 5 after some fans questioned whether his advertised appearance would actually lead to a match.

While speaking on the One of a Kind podcast, Van Dam discussed his upcoming trip to Mexico and pointed fans toward the Titan Mania promotional material. He also noticed Carlito on the poster, although that doesn’t necessarily mean the two will be facing each other.

“Yep. Mexically this Saturday, September the 5th. If you look at the poster, I see Carito is going to be there. Check it out. You might recognize some of the other wrestlers on it. It’s it’s in my website, rapamame.com. It’s also floating around on um social media, but um I am very excited about it this Saturday. Um it’s called Titan Mania or TITAN MANIA.”

The biggest takeaway came moments later when RVD addressed fans who have been asking if he’s actually going to wrestle at the show. Van Dam left no room for doubt about his in-ring return.

“So, we’re pretty excited. Definitely it’s happening. So, the fans uh fans have been like, ‘Is this really going to happen? Is this real?’”

RVD doubled down on the return at the end of the show. He said he’s feeling good physically and has been looking forward to getting back in the ring.

“Appreciate it, everybody. Thanks, Vanam Fam. Hope everybody is well. Look forward to talking to you next week. We’ll talk about uh my match. I’m feeling good. Been uh um been looking forward to it, you know.”

There’s still one pretty important detail RVD doesn’t have — an opponent. Despite the match being confirmed, Van Dam said he hasn’t been told who he’ll be facing. Carlito came up as a possibility since he’s advertised for the event, but RVD wasn’t claiming that matchup was set.

“So,, I don’t know who I’m wrestling. Am I wrestling Carito? Maybe. I don’t know.”

So the mystery opponent remains, but the bigger question has been answered. RVD says he’s healthy, ready and definitely wrestling on September 5. Now it’s just a matter of finding out who will be standing across the ring from the Whole F’n Show when the bell rings.

Who do you want to see Rob Van Dam face in his confirmed in-ring return at Titan Mania? Would Carlito be the right opponent, or should RVD get somebody completely different? Let us know what you think and leave your feedback in the comments.
