Johnny Gargano’s WWE future was already getting people talking, and Road Dogg just threw something much more interesting into the mix.

The former WWE creative team member commented on Gargano on August 23, but it wasn’t just what he wrote that caught attention — it was the AEW All In London photo he deliberately attached to the post.

Gargano became the subject of WWE exit speculation after fans noticed his Twitter bio doesn’t mention WWE and includes contact information for business inquiries. The problem with that theory is the bio isn’t new. Gargano has used that setup dating back to his previous WWE departure in 2021, so there’s nothing showing he suddenly scrubbed the company from his profile. Then Road Dogg chimed in on Facebook.

“Johnny was a Hunter guy. But I was too. The times they are a changing. Time marches on!”

That comment alone would have been enough to raise some eyebrows. Road Dogg appeared to be referencing Gargano’s long association with Triple H, who was instrumental in Gargano’s rise through NXT. Road Dogg also described himself as a “Hunter guy,” before adding that times are changing. But the photo attached to the post is where things get really interesting.

Road Dogg used an image of Gargano standing in front of massive AEW All In London graphics. That’s a pretty specific visual to pair with a comment about times changing, especially with AEW All In London taking place next Sunday.

There’s still no confirmation Gargano is leaving WWE, and his Twitter bio isn’t evidence of a departure. Road Dogg also never outright said Gargano is AEW-bound. Still, attaching an AEW All In image while talking about Gargano and saying “the times they are a changing” is certainly going to pour gasoline on speculation that was already making the rounds. Whether Road Dogg knows something or is simply having some fun with wrestling fans remains to be seen, but that AEW All In backdrop was impossible to miss.

What do you think Road Dogg was trying to say with the Johnny Gargano AEW All In photo? Was he teasing something, or just trolling everyone feeding the rumors? Leave your feedback and let us know what you think.
