Ric Flair Spotted With Sting Backstage In AEW

Ric Flair made headlines after requested his release from WWE earlier this month. It was previously said that Ric Flair wants one more in-ring run, and he has teased that on numerous occasions.

Ric Flair uploaded a photo of himself showing off his gains at the gym and also declared in a post that he will never retire. TripleMania XXIX even featured a surprise appearance from Ric Flair, who accompanied Andrade El Idolo to the ring.

Many reacted to his WWE departure and that included Sting, who is undoubtedly one of Ric Flair’s greatest rivals as the two have faced off against each other many times over the years.

Ric Flair took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself backstage in AEW with Sting as the two had a reunion. He made sure to note that Sting was his friend for life.

Eric Bischoff himself stated that he would be surprised if Ric Flair doesn’t eventually join AEW. We will have to wait and see if Ric Flair will decide to go to AEW and join up with his friend Sting in the future.
