Rey Mysterio completely lost his cool during AAA Ola de Calor 2026—and now he’s getting in the ring with Omos. The two will collide during TripleMania 34 Night One with Omos’ entire future in AAA hanging in the balance.
The trouble started during the contract signing for Dominik Mysterio’s AAA Mega Championship defense against El Grande Americano. AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio hosted the segment, while Dorian Roldán accompanied Dominik to the ring.
Dominik refused to sign the contract unless Rey lifted Omos’ suspension. Omos was previously suspended after putting his hands on Rey, but Dominik wanted his El Ojo ally reinstated before agreeing to face Americano.
Rey fired back by threatening to strip Dominik of the championship. El Grande Americano stopped that from happening because he didn’t want to win the title without beating Dominik himself.
Things exploded when Omos appeared at ringside despite his suspension. Rey told him he wasn’t allowed to be there, but Omos pulled out a ticket showing that he had purchased a seat before patting Rey on the head.
That sent Rey over the edge. He started hammering Omos with a microphone until El Grande Americano pulled him away. Dominik then attacked Americano as both sides had to be separated.
Rey finally told Omos that if he wanted back into AAA, he would have to go through him. Rey booked the match for TripleMania 34 Night One and added some massive stakes: an Omos victory will lift his suspension, but a Rey Mysterio victory will ban Omos from AAA forever.

- Rey Mysterio vs. Omos — If Omos wins, his suspension is lifted. If Rey wins, Omos is gone from AAA forever.

- AAA Reina de Reinas Championship: Flammer (c) vs. La Catalina
