Randy Orton and Bubba Ray Dudley apparently buried the hatchet after years of bad blood tied to an ugly incident inside the ring.

D-Von Dudley addressed the situation during Episode 79 of the “D-Von & The Duke” podcast while firing back at fans who wanted him to spill every private detail involving Bubba, Orton and Batista.

The issues between Orton and Bubba appear to date back to a match where Bubba landed on Orton’s foot and broke it. An excerpt shared from Batista’s autobiography claims Bubba then blamed Orton for the accident and yelled at him while Randy was being placed into an ambulance.

Batista was clearly furious over how the entire situation played out. The chapter detailing the incident was even titled “Bubba Dudley Is an Asshole.” Whatever happened between Orton and Bubba did not stay hot forever. D-Von said he personally spoke with Randy and knows the two men eventually settled their problems.

“I am happy that Bubba and Randy somewhat made up. I know that for a fact. I spoke to Randy a couple of times, and he said he squashed it with Bubba. It is what it is.”

That confirmation came while D-Von was discussing the tension involving Bubba, Orton and Batista. He made it clear that he has no interest in feeding the drama or giving wrestling news outlets private details just so the story can keep going. While Orton and Bubba have moved past their problems, D-Von indicated that the same cannot be said for Batista and Bubba. He hopes that relationship can eventually be repaired as well.

“Nobody wants to see an ongoing feud with these three men. I hated that Batista and Bubba don’t care for each other.”

“I’m hoping one day Batista can do the same—him and Bubba.”

D-Von also pushed back on viewers who accused him of dodging questions because he would not expose everything that happened behind the scenes. He said his goal is to see the men settle their differences, not turn their real-life issues into content for people looking to stir things up.

“I’m not there to give you the gossip, the juicy details. I’m going to tell you what I feel I should tell you and what you should know.”

“Forgive me for trying to do the right thing and get these guys to be good, as opposed to you turning on your phone and seeing, ‘Bubba hates Batista, Batista hates Bubba,’ and blah, blah, blah.”

The Orton and Bubba situation may have started with a broken foot, an ambulance argument and years of resentment, but D-Von says that chapter is now closed. Batista and Bubba still have work to do, but at least one major Dudley Boyz beef has finally been put to rest.

Do you think Batista and Bubba Ray Dudley will eventually squash their issues like Randy Orton did? Leave your feedback and let us know what you think.
