It was announced on Monday that John Cena would be an entrant in the men’s 30-man battle royal match at this month’s Royal Rumble event.
According to the @WrestleVotes Twitter account, which has broken several recent stories, Cena isn’t expected to win the Rumble match and challenge the WWE Universal Champion or the WWE Champion.
The account tweeted, “I’ve heard Cena winning the Rumble isn’t likely now as his “big” matchup doesn’t involve either title. So we can finally shut down those John Cena vs Jinder Mahal WrestleMania rumors.”
