Piper Niven finally has some genuinely good news after months of uncertainty surrounding her wrestling future. Twelve weeks after undergoing neck surgery, the WWE star says her latest scans show that everything is “healing beautifully.”

Niven took to Instagram and shared X-rays of her neck alongside the encouraging news. After previously admitting there was a possibility she might never wrestle again, her latest medical checkup appears to have gone about as well as she could have hoped.

“Howdy cowpokes 🤠

got my 12 week scans and everything is ‘healing beautifully’.”

Niven also returned to social media to find plenty of messages from fans checking on her recovery. She thanked everyone for the support while joking that she’ll probably disappear from social media again before getting around to answering them.

“I logged into a tonne of messages of love and concern and I wanted to say thank you so much 🥹💖 I am probably not gonna get back to anyone before I Irish goodbye back out of social media please don’t hate me 🤣 but thank you all for giving a hoot 🥰”

Piper seems pretty content spending her recovery away from wrestling and social media for now. Niven joked about returning to her “geriatric Florida bam life” and admitted nobody should count on her sticking around online.

“Imma go back to living my geriatric Florida bam life 😘

Maybe be back on in a bit or maybe disappear off the face of the earth who knows 🤷‍♀️

I heard no one even does posts anymore so maybe no one will see this? Who am I even talking to? Ok love you bye 👋”

The positive scans are especially encouraging considering how uncertain Niven sounded only a couple of months ago. In June, she warned fans that recovering from her neck surgery would take a long time and acknowledged there was still a possibility she might not wrestle again.

Niven hasn’t competed since facing Charlotte Flair on SmackDown in Dublin in August 2025. She later underwent neck surgery in California after dealing with months of pain, and her WWE return remains without a timetable.

Nothing in Niven’s latest post confirms that she has been cleared to wrestle or guarantees an eventual WWE return. But after openly acknowledging that her career could potentially be over, hearing that her neck is “healing beautifully” at the 12-week mark is certainly a positive step.
