Persephone is defending the TBS Championship at AEW All Out, but she’s already decided who isn’t getting a shot. During AEW Dynamite & Collision for September 23 2026, the champion issued an open challenge and immediately barred Maya World, Thunder Rosa and Hyan from answering it.
The timing was pointed. Persephone had just beaten Hyan to retain the title, only for Hyan to introduce Thunder Rosa as her new tag team partner later in the show. The two challenged Persephone and Britt Baker to a match next week in Pittsburgh, and Baker and Persephone accepted.
Then Persephone made her All Out announcement. Anyone else can step up for the TBS Title on September 26, but the three women she named are out of the running. She gets an unknown opponent at the pay-per-view while Hyan and Rosa have to wait until Pittsburgh to get their hands on her.
Persephone has left the door open to the rest of the roster, and now the question is who walks through it. An open challenge can go sideways fast when the champion doesn’t know who’s coming.
