Penta and PAC spent years fighting alongside each other as members of Death Triangle, but their connection clearly went far beyond what fans saw whenever the cameras were rolling.
Penta delivered an emotional message to Benjamin Satterley during WWE’s tribute video honoring the former Neville, thanking PAC for the advice and support he offered during their friendship. Penta made sure to tell PAC exactly what he meant to him. He then summed up how he viewed Satterley both inside and outside professional wrestling.
“Thank you for your support. Thank you for always. You give me the best advices and these businesses.”
“You are a great man, you are a great wrestler. You are a great friend, too.”
Penta also spoke on behalf of the Lucha Brothers and made it clear that PAC will always remain part of their family.
“We love you because the Lucha brothers always is with you. And we know you always is with us, too.”
PAC’s death at only 40 years old was announced by AEW, the company where PAC, Penta and Rey Fenix became Death Triangle and captured the AEW World Trios Championship together. Tributes have continued throughout professional wrestling ever since. Later in WWE’s video, Penta said Satterley had managed to teach him something even in death.
“Even in this moment, you Pac teach us something. Enjoy the present.”
Penta then offered one final message to the man he called “Paxito.”
“Always, always. You are my heart, Pack. Thank you for everything, bro.”
Death Triangle gave wrestling fans plenty of wild matches, but Penta’s words showed why the group worked beyond simply putting three talented wrestlers together. There was real love between the people underneath the masks and characters, and that relationship isn’t disappearing because PAC is gone.
