Penta came to AAA on FOX ready to talk about Roman Reigns, but his old crew had other plans. During the August 15 show in Torreón, Mexico, Perros Del Mal showed up and tried to bring Penta back into the group.
Penta told the crowd he plans to win the tournament and take the World Heavyweight Championship from Roman. He also made it clear he has fought for everything he has and never needed a group to get ahead. That’s when Karmen Petrovic and Perros Del Mal appeared. Daga entered the ring, hugged Penta and reminded him that Penta joined the group back in 2014.
Daga then told Penta that beating Roman Reigns might be a different story. He argued that Roman respects power, power comes in numbers, and Penta will need Perros Del Mal behind him if he wants to take Roman down.
The group handed Penta a Perros Del Mal shirt and invited him to rejoin them. Penta didn’t give them an answer. He took the shirt and said he needed time to think about it, while Daga told him he had until the end of the night to make his decision. So now Penta has a choice — keep going after Roman Reigns alone, or bring Perros Del Mal back into his corner.
