Paul Heyman is wasting no time celebrating Brock Lesnar’s shocking return to WWE television.
During the May 18 episode of WWE RAW, Lesnar made a surprise appearance during Oba Femi’s open challenge and completely destroyed “The Ruler” before the match could even begin. The Beast Incarnate stormed the ring during Femi’s entrance and laid him out with multiple F5s in a brutal attack that instantly became the biggest moment of the night.
The return came after weeks of speculation surrounding Lesnar’s WWE future following WrestleMania 42, where many fans believed he had retired after leaving his boots and gloves in the ring following his loss to Oba Femi.
Later during RAW, Heyman revealed that Lesnar had already signed a contract for a rematch against Oba Femi at WWE Clash in Paris on May 31. According to Heyman, the only thing left is getting Femi to sign the agreement.
After the show ended, Heyman took to social media and reacted to Lesnar’s return in typical “Wise Man” fashion.
“Oh, did I forget to mention that BRRRRRRRRRRRROCK LESNAR decided to do something about Oba Femi? My apologies. It must have slipped my mind!”
Heyman’s reaction immediately got fans talking online as WWE now appears fully committed to revisiting the Lesnar vs. Oba Femi rivalry after their WrestleMania showdown.
Instead of retirement talk surrounding Lesnar, WWE has now shifted directly into promoting another collision between two of the company’s most physically dominant stars.
Lesnar’s return alone completely changed the atmosphere around RAW, and with Paul Heyman now openly backing the Beast Incarnate again, the road to Clash in Paris just got a lot more dangerous for Oba Femi.
