Paige and Nikki Bella have apparently been waiting for the exact same thing as everyone else. Weeks into their feud without WWE putting them in the ring for a proper face-to-face, Paige admitted that she wants it to happen too.

A fan took to Twitter on August 23 and summed up the wait with the famous “It’s been 84 years” clip from Titanic, as they made it clear they are frustrated over waiting for Paige and Bella to have a confrontation.

“Me every week, hoping Nikki and Paige will finally be in the same ring for a face to face”

Paige didn’t argue with that one. Her response was only two words: “Us too.” She made it clear that she and Nikki Bella feel the same way. That says plenty considering how this feud has played out. Paige and Nikki have traded shots and kept things moving outside television, but WWE still hasn’t put them together for the confrontation fans have been waiting for.

It also comes after Paige’s promo addressing Nikki was supposed to air on the August 14 episode of SmackDown before being cut for “logistical reasons.” WWE eventually released the completed segment online, meaning another piece of their story happened without making the actual broadcast.

Nikki has already been preparing for more of the same. Speaking on The Nikki & Brie Show, she admitted that she’s been coming up with ways to keep the feud alive even if WWE continues cutting their material.

“You know what? At this point, I have so many ideas. If it just turns into an online story, why not? I almost—it almost would be great to just keep getting cut and making this, like, an online thing with Paige because we do have so much equity and star power.”

For weeks, fans have been asking when Paige and Nikki will finally get in the same ring after SummerSlam. Now Paige is asking right along with them. WWE has two women openly building this thing wherever they can—the face-to-face is the part that still hasn’t happened.

Do you think WWE has waited too long to finally put Paige and Nikki Bella in the same ring? Let us know in the comments.
