If you were watching SmackDown from home, you probably noticed something was missing during Paige’s match. WWE never actually showed her entrance.
Paige teamed with WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton against Fatal Influence on the September 25 episode of SmackDown. The match ended with Nikki Bella getting involved, tripping Paige and allowing Jacy Jayne to steal the win with a Rolling Encore.
After the show, fans pointed out that Paige’s entrance happened during a commercial break instead of making it onto the broadcast. Paige spotted the comments herself and had a pretty lighthearted reaction on Twitter.
“Trust me, my entrance was superrrr cool, just that damn commercial break got in the way..”
It was a small moment, but one plenty of fans noticed since entrances are often part of what makes a WWE presentation feel complete. While the live crowd still got to see Paige make her way to the ring, everyone watching at home had to settle for seeing the match already underway.
With Paige continuing to be featured prominently on SmackDown, chances are fans won’t have to wait long before getting another chance to see her entrance—hopefully with the cameras rolling this time.
