Paige has dealt with plenty of criticism since returning to WWE, but this time it wasn’t about her match or a promo. Instead, one fan decided to take aim at something much simpler—her ring gear. The comment caught Paige’s attention, and rather than scrolling past it, she decided to answer it herself.
Right after joking that her SmackDown entrance was lost to a commercial break, the WWE star found herself responding to a different complaint on social media. This time, a fan claimed she’d been wearing the same ring gear ever since returning at WrestleMania 42. The fan wrote:
“Paige has had the same gear since Mania, really… right? Can we get this girl dressed in something else? Also, her entrance was on commercial, so Nikki’s costing her.”
Paige wasn’t about to let that one go unanswered. She called out the fan for being obsessed with how female wrestlers dress and then posted a series of photos showing the different gear she’s worn since making her WWE return, making it clear the fan’s claim wasn’t exactly accurate.
“Bobby please.. lol here’s some pics of all my gears since I’ve been back.. but also, what is this obsession with telling the girls they have to change their gear every single week?..”
Bottom line: Paige clearly wasn’t bothered by the criticism itself, but she also wasn’t going to let an inaccurate claim go unanswered. If anything, she seemed more amused than annoyed—and she had the photos to back up her point.
