ODB officially took her place in the TNA Hall of Fame on October 11, 2026, and the company made sure the woman who spent her career doing things her own way got an induction that felt exactly like her.

Al Snow and Traci Brooks handled the honors, with Snow going all the way back to ODB’s earliest days in wrestling.

Snow recalled meeting “Jess” during auditions for the first Tough Enough in 2001 and said she stood out so much that she remains the only person he still remembers from that audition. According to Snow, it was her promo that immediately convinced him she had something special.

Then Traci Brooks took over — and her speech got a whole lot more colorful. Brooks talked about the expectations placed on women, especially when it came to being quiet, behaving a certain way and not stepping outside the lines.

ODB clearly never got that memo. Brooks remembered one of their early interactions and the moment she realized ODB was going to be completely different from everybody else.

“Girls are told to be seen and not heard and not cuss and I was so happy that ODB slapped my ass and said ‘b**h.’”*

Brooks said that moment helped spark a friendship that lasted a lifetime. She also praised ODB for refusing to water herself down for anybody.

“ODB has the balls to be who she was.”

Brooks then made the bigger point — sometimes wrestling works best when companies stop trying to force performers into a box and simply let them be themselves.

“Sometimes you have to let people be who they are and that’s what TNA let ODB do.”

Brooks thanked ODB for allowing her to be part of the induction before Earl Hebner escorted ODB to the podium. TNA President Carlos Silva then presented ODB with her Hall of Fame plaque, officially sealing her place in the company’s history.

The ceremony went down ahead of TNA Bound For Glory on October 11, 2026, giving TNA a chance to honor one of the most recognizable Knockouts of an entire era before the night’s matches began.

ODB never built her career by trying to look like everybody else, talk like everybody else or wrestle like everybody else. She got over because she was completely herself, and years later, that same attitude is exactly what landed her in the TNA Hall of Fame.
