Nyla Rose has found herself dealing with another transphobic fan, and this time she couldn’t help pointing out the contradiction. The person apparently wants her off their television, yet keeps going out of their way to find her online.
Rose took to Instagram and called out a fan named @kfmg_bxicu, who she said had been repeatedly harassing her with transphobic remarks. The fan attacked Rose’s gender identity and appearance, writing:
“THIS IS A FKN MENTALLY DERANGED MAN!”
That wasn’t the only shot. The same fan also went after Rose’s weight while continuing to misgender her: “THIS IS EMBARASSING LOOK AT THIS MORBIDLY OBESE MANIAC.” Rose wasn’t interested in letting that slide. She pointed out that someone who supposedly doesn’t want to see her on television seems to be spending a lot of time actively looking for her posts, then threw the weight insult straight back at him.
“@kfmg_bxicu wants me off his tv, but is actively seeking out post, presumably from my own page to post and harass me… needlessly mind you… calls me morbidly obese yet probably has me by 200 pounds… but somehow IM the mentally deranged one 🥴🥴😂😂😂”
Unfortunately for Rose, this isn’t exactly new territory. Back in August, another fan tried to insult her appearance and hairline while misgendering her. Rose responded with sarcasm rather than giving the person the reaction they were looking for.
“Oh nooooo you’ve hurt my feelings and made me soooooooooooo sad by saying things that are completely obvious to literally anyone who isn’t vision impaired…only difference is I’m comfortable and confident enough to rock with it while you hide behind a anime picture because you’re a coward and can never live up to being the man you wish you were 🤭 tee hee”
Rose recently spoke with Denise Salcedo about the hostility transgender people can face as well. She argued that some people build their entire perception of transgender people around misinformation without ever having meaningful interactions with someone who is trans.
Her latest response didn’t need that much explaining, though. If someone really wants Nyla Rose off their screen, repeatedly searching for Nyla Rose content is probably a strange way of accomplishing it.
