Harlem Lewis is asking fans for help as his six-year-old dog and “best friend” prepares to undergo a frightening emergency surgery. The NXT star made it clear just how much his dog means to him while trying to raise enough money to cover the expensive procedure.
Lewis took to Instagram and revealed that his dog needs emergency surgery, explaining that the two have essentially spent the dog’s entire life together. While Lewis believes his best friend is strong enough to make it through, the cost of the procedure has forced him to turn to others for support.
“My 6 year old dog and best friend is going under a very scary emergency surgery. He’s been with me his entire life, and I know he is strong enough to get through this, but it’s a very expensive surgery, and I could really use help.

Lewis has also launched a GoFundMe to help cover the costs. At the time of writing, the fundraiser has a $7,000 goal and has already raised $2,109, putting him a little over 30% of the way there.
It’s obviously a scary situation for Lewis, especially considering he’s had his dog for all six years of his life. For now, the NXT star is putting his faith in his best friend’s strength while hoping enough people see and share his message to help get him through the emergency procedure.
