Nikki Bella Is Tired of People Trying to Set Her Up With Men

Nikki Bella is officially over the matchmaking, and she wants everyone to know it. On The Nikki and Brie Show, the WWE Hall of Famer vented about friends and acquaintances pushing potential suitors in front of her, including surprise FaceTime introductions that caught her completely off guard.

The conversation started with Nikki and Brie joking about the holiday season and the awkward situations people create when they try to play cupid. Nikki then got real about how often it has been happening to her lately. Her patience, it seems, has run out.

“I am so over people putting FaceTimes in my face of meeting men the past few days or bringing them up to me awkwardly like, ‘Hey, so she’s single. You guys wanna chat?’”

Nikki made sure to say the problem isn’t the guys themselves. She admitted that the men she was introduced to were easy on the eyes, which only made the whole thing more amusing. Still, good looks weren’t enough to win her over.

“I mean, they were good-looking. I was looking up. They’re very much all right. Very good-looking men.”

She even confessed that one of the men had an accent that got her attention. For a moment, it sounded like she might have been tempted, and she played it up with a joke. Then she shut the door again.

“But I am, I mean, one had a strong accent. I was like, ‘Yes. Where? I’ll come.’ Yeah. Not about to have like my own starting lineup, so I’m good.”

The comments fit right in with what Nikki has been saying about her love life all year. Back in August, she told Us Weekly ahead of WWE SummerSlam that she hasn’t gone back into the dating pool at all, joking that she’s basically living like a nun.

“I’m pretty much like a nun at this point. Super celibate. I should just put on a ring. I wish I was out there getting wild. I just don’t have energy for it.”

Brie said at the time that she has tried to set her sister up on dates, only to hit the same wall every time. Nikki’s schedule is simply packed with the road, the wine company, the podcast and raising her son Matteo.

“She’s too busy, and I get it. Matteo is her world right now.”

Brie also revealed what Nikki would rather do with a rare free night, and it doesn’t involve getting dressed up for a stranger.

“If she has a free night, she wants to Netflix and chill. She’s like, ‘I don’t want to go on a date. I don’t have to dress up.’”

Nikki has also admitted that being single at 42 can bring moments of insecurity, though she has said she reminds herself that the right person will appreciate her for who she is. Based on her latest comments, she is not about to rush that process just because someone has a FaceTime ready to go.

For now, it sounds like Nikki is happy with her full plate and her quiet nights, and the matchmakers might want to take the hint. Her “starting lineup” line makes it clear she is not looking to audition anyone anytime soon.
