Nikki Bella is stepping back into the WWE spotlight with more than just ring gear — she’s bringing a mindset built on growth, evolution, and proving something to herself. After returning to the ring on the October 27 episode of WWE Raw in a match against Roxanne Perez, the WWE Hall of Famer is opening up about what’s motivating her comeback.
Speaking on The Nikki & Brie Show, Bella reflected on her return to in-ring action and the feedback she received after her latest performance. Despite taking a loss to Perez — with a little help from Raquel Rodriguez — Bella came away feeling accomplished and more fired up than ever.
“It felt great,” she said about the 10/27 Raw match. “What I love is every time I go out there, I push harder. I’m learning more about myself in this era and I sit and watch and I get feedback from like you and Bryan, from myself, and I know what I need to do next and how I need to improve even more. I was so proud of Monday and I got a lot of great feedback and your girl was trending number one.”
Bella made it clear that her return isn’t just about nostalgia — it’s about pushing boundaries and stepping outside of what’s comfortable.
“There’s just a lot of moments for me where I just continue to push myself out of my comfort zone,” she added. “I wanted to bring in more moves and challenge myself like I used to do. I’m going against somebody with a 20-year difference, you know?”
Looking ahead, Bella confirmed that fans won’t have to wait long to see her again. She’s already preparing for a tag team match on the November 3 episode of Raw, which airs live from the Rio Rancho Event Center in New Mexico.
“What I love is just from myself, I get to continue to see me grow and get better and keep bringing it up another notch,” she said. “I know what I’m going to do next week for the tag match, I know the things I’m going to work on this week in the gym and in training. I know the changes I’m going to make and I’m not going to tell you them because I want you to point them out.”
Nikki Bella might have a Hall of Fame ring, but she’s acting like someone still chasing greatness — and that mindset could be what makes this comeback her most meaningful yet.
