Nikki Bella is pretty fed up with guys forgetting basic manners, and one nasty airport encounter apparently pushed her over the edge. After getting her ankles repeatedly rammed with a luggage cart, the WWE Hall of Famer had a few things to say about how men should treat women.

Speaking on The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki recalled trying to get through customs in Mexico City when passengers were basically being herded into one line. According to Nikki, one man apparently thought she had cut in front of him and decided to take his frustration out on her ankles.

“I told you about Mexico City. I’m literally trying to go through customs. You guys, we were like a herd of cattle that they were trying to put into one line. So people were going in front, whatever.

“This guy thought I cut him when I’m just being herded in. He starts to slam his cart into the back of my ankles.

“And I look, I’m like, ‘Are you serious?’ And he’s just giving me this look and hitting me.

“So one of the officers grabbed me and then let me go right through, which I look back and I’m like, whatever. But I’m like, ew. How gross are you?”

That whole mess eventually turned into a bigger conversation about chivalry and basic courtesy. Bella then made it clear that women wanting equal pay and opportunities doesn’t mean men suddenly need to throw old-school manners out the window.

“This is chivalry? Like, come on. Even though women are asking to have equal pay and to get the same opportunities, doesn’t mean all of a sudden treat us like a man. You still want to treat a woman as a woman.”

And Nikki wasn’t exactly interested in sugarcoating her point. Whether it’s getting off a plane, reaching a stop sign or simply holding a door, she thinks some people need to relearn how to wait their turn and show a little respect.

“No, but if you’re going to do that stuff, you’re just a piece of s***. You’re a piece of s***. Wait your turn to get off the plane. Wait your turn at a stop sign. You know what? Open up a door for someone.”

Then Nikki delivered probably the least subtle lesson in chivalry imaginable. As far as she’s concerned, guys really shouldn’t need this one explained to them.

“Yeah. If you’ve got nuts and a d***, open the f***** door for a woman. Come on, bro.”

Nikki certainly isn’t asking anyone to roll out a red carpet for her. But judging by how fired up she got during the conversation, holding a door open once in a while might be a pretty good place to start.
