Nikki Bella is opening up about her dating mindset again, and this time she’s making it clear why she’s no longer going after “extremely hot” men.
The WWE Hall of Famer shared an update on her love life during the April 27, 2026 episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, where the conversation turned to her type. Nikki was asked if she would date a funny, charming, kind of cute older man, and she made it clear that age isn’t an issue, but personality is now the priority. As she broke down what attracts her now, Nikki explained that charm and humor can completely change how someone is seen.
“Would I date a funny, charming, kind of cute older guy? Well, definitely older—I don’t mind older, depends on what kind of older. I’d date any type of charming, kind of guy, but honestly, even when you’re kind of cute, when you’re funny and charming, you come off as super cute.”
She then went a step further and explained exactly why she’s moved away from the typical “hot guy” image, pointing out that looks don’t always come with the qualities she values.
“As you know, sometimes the super extremely hot guys will be narcissists, so I’d rather have kind of cute.”
This mindset didn’t come out of nowhere. Nikki had already opened up about her boundaries during her September 2025 appearance on What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, where she talked about being single after her divorce and the importance of protecting her personal space, especially when it comes to her son.
While reflecting on conversations with friends about dating, Nikki made it clear that even though she’s open to having fun, there are strict limits in place for anyone entering her life.
“All the girls were talking about this last night when we were in the suite. We were all hanging out and, you know, some of them were telling me, like, what I should go for and—Okay. We’ve had a lot because there’s a few of us that have become single, so—Right. You know, we’ve had some fun conversations. Those are very fun conversations. Yeah. It was good yesterday. And it’s so funny because I’m just like, well, as long as they don’t live in Napa or ever expect to come visit, I’m fine with that. Like, no one’s coming around my son for, like, years and years and years. They have to prove that. I’ll have to know. Like, it doesn’t mean I can’t have a little fun, though.”
For now, Nikki Bella is keeping her guard up while still leaving room for something new. She has made it clear that she is not chasing the “extremely hot” guy if charm, humor, and emotional maturity are missing. Bella knows what she wants after divorce, and this time, “kind of cute” might be exactly the lane she is looking for.
