Nick LoPiccolo is still taking swings at Tony Khan, but this time he’s not rehashing the same old fight — he’s going straight after the people Khan listens to.
LoPiccolo took to X on September 5, 2026, and drew a brutal comparison between AEW and TKO, arguing that the biggest difference is who each side has in the room when major decisions are being made. According to LoPiccolo, TKO is loaded with people who come from the same Hollywood world he spent nearly two decades working in. AEW, in his view, doesn’t have that same kind of experience around Khan, and he thinks some of the people giving advice there wouldn’t last long in the entertainment business he knows.
“The main difference between TK and TKO is TKO has a lot of people from my world running the show and TK has no real Hollywood agents/executives/etc, and gets advice from people who imo would get eaten alive in Hollywood etc. I lived that for 17 years. There’s a code. Period.”
That “there’s a code” line is the heart of LoPiccolo’s latest shot. He’s basically saying the problem isn’t just that Khan sees things differently — it’s that AEW doesn’t have enough people around him who understand how Hollywood relationships, publicity and dealmaking actually work.
That ties directly into LoPiccolo’s long-running feud with Khan. For the past year, LoPiccolo has claimed Khan became suspicious of publicity surrounding LoPiccolo’s WWE clients because some of those announcements landed close to AEW pay-per-views.
LoPiccolo’s position has always been that those stories were timed around WWE premium live events because that was when his clients had the most attention and the best chance of getting noticed by Hollywood executives. He has denied there was ever some coordinated plan to take attention away from AEW.
He has also claimed Khan and people connected to AEW started asking around about him in July 2025, trying to figure out whether he worked for WWE, whether Paradigm was tied to WME, and whether somebody had put him up to targeting AEW.
LoPiccolo has treated that entire theory as ridiculous from the start, and now he seems to be pointing to AEW’s lack of Hollywood veterans as the reason he believes the situation got so far out of hand in the first place.
This isn’t LoPiccolo saying Khan simply made one bad call. He’s attacking the judgment around AEW’s leadership and saying the people advising Khan don’t understand the rules of the world LoPiccolo spent 17 years navigating.
That’s a much sharper shot than another argument over one press release or one pay-per-view weekend. LoPiccolo is now questioning whether AEW has the right people in the room at all — and based on the way he ended that post, he doesn’t think Hollywood would be very forgiving if they were dropped into that environment.
