AEW has officially announced a brand-new championship bout for this Saturday’s AEW Collision. Kazuchika Okada will defend the AEW International Championship against Adam Priest in a first-time-ever matchup.

The announcement was made via AEW’s Twitter account following Priest’s victory on ROH TV and a backstage confrontation involving Rocky Romero and Azucar Roc, who was representing The Don Callis Family. Riding that momentum, Priest stepped up and issued the challenge to Okada — and it was accepted.

“After Priest’s ROH win tonight + a confrontation with @AzucarRoc representing @TheDonCallis Family, Priest challenged Okada. Now they COLLIDE for the title THIS SATURDAY!” AEW wrote on Twitter.

The match joins an already packed Collision lineup, making the January 31st episode one to watch.
