Netflix just made Bron Breakker’s bloody steel cage moment look even more insane, because instead of showing his busted-open face during the WWE Night of Champions replay, the platform blurred out his entire head.

Breakker started bleeding during his brutal cage match against Seth Rollins after Rollins superplexed him from the top of the cage through a table. It was already one of the nastiest spots of the night, but fans watching the replay later noticed Netflix handled the blood in the strangest way possible.

Instead of going black-and-white or cutting around the blood, Netflix slapped a blur over Breakker’s whole head while the match kept rolling. One fan posted the clip on Twitter and summed up just how ridiculous it looked.

“On the Netflix replay of #WWENOC, they have decided to blur out Bron Breakker’s entire head after he gets busted open. It’s both amazing and one of the stupidest things you’ll see today.”

That choice is what has fans talking now. Netflix has no problem hosting violent shows, adult dramas, and plenty of explicit content, but apparently Bron Breakker bleeding in a WWE cage match was where the line got drawn.

The match itself was already chaos. Rollins and Breakker smashed each other with chairs, tables, the cage door, and everything they could find before Rollins finally won with a top-rope Stomp. But the replay edit may end up being the thing people remember most, because blurring a wrestler’s entire head during a blood spot is about as subtle as putting a blanket over the TV.

WWE wanted a violent blowoff match, and Rollins got the win in Saudi Arabia. Netflix, meanwhile, accidentally gave fans a brand-new meme by trying to clean up the mess after the fact.

What do you think about Netflix blurring Bron Breakker’s whole head during the Night of Champions replay? Was it understandable, or did it make the moment look even more ridiculous? Let us know in the comments below.
