Nick Aldis is out as SmackDown General Manager, and Natalya isn’t wasting any time making her case for the job. With WWE suddenly needing someone to fill one of its biggest on-screen authority roles, the veteran star admitted she’d jump at the opportunity—and she already has a vision for what she’d do first.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Natalya made it clear that becoming SmackDown’s General Manager is something she’d happily add to her résumé.
“I wanna do everything. I’m one of those people in this industry. I have a huge appetite. I wanna do everything. That’s what I love, being a part of it. There’s nothing I can’t do and don’t wanna do.”
Then came the part that could get plenty of WWE fans talking. Natalya revealed exactly what would be at the top of her agenda if she were handed the keys to SmackDown.
“Yeah, I would love to be a GM. The first thing I’d do as a GM would be to create a lot more opportunities for women.”
Her comments come just as WWE enters a new chapter following Aldis’ departure from the General Manager role. Before stepping away from the position, Aldis made it clear he wasn’t looking beyond his SummerSlam showdown with GUNTHER, saying his only concern was delivering in the ring rather than wondering what the match might lead to.
While Aldis kept his focus entirely on SummerSlam, Natalya is already looking toward what comes next—and if she ever gets the chance to run SmackDown, she wants the women’s division to be one of the biggest winners.
Whether WWE has any plans to put Natalya in the General Manager’s chair remains to be seen, but she certainly isn’t hiding her interest.
