MJF believes the wrestling war has taken a major turn—and AEW is the company winning over the “real wrestling fans.” With AEW All In 2026 closing in on another massive Wembley Stadium crowd, the former World Champion says the pendulum has officially swung.
WrestleTix revealed Friday that 43,845 tickets have been distributed for Sunday’s pay-per-view in London. AEW moved 53,922 tickets for All In 2024, while the company’s first Wembley Stadium event in 2023 drew a paid attendance of 81,035.
During an interview with Us Magazine, MJF pointed out that AEW will have run Wembley three times within four years. He called the company’s ability to keep packing fans into the building a nearly impossible achievement.
“The simple fact that we’re about to run the exact same venue three times within the span of four years, and we’re about to have close to, if not more than, the exact same amount that we had the second time we ran it, I think is very telling of the amount of fans that we have around the world.”
MJF didn’t stop there. He argued that AEW repeatedly returning to Wembley with tens of thousands of fans proves just how big the company’s international audience has become.
“I think what we’ve accomplished here is borderline impossible. When you think about the fact that we’re running the same venue in this short a span of time, and that we’ve gotten this many people in the building, it is a genuine accomplishment.”
The AEW star then took a shot at the competition without naming WWE. MJF admitted that other wrestling shows can be good, but claimed AEW is the company capable of leaving fans completely blown away.
“We’re where you get to feel the most watching pro wrestling. You watch other products—they can be good. But are you walking away saying, ‘Holy sht, my brain just exploded’? I think that’s what we’re kings of. That’s what we do.”*
According to MJF, that difference has changed how wrestling fans view AEW in 2026. He believes the company has grabbed the momentum and won over the fans who care most about professional wrestling.
“I think that’s why, in 2026, the pendulum has swung to the degree that it’s swung in the fans’ eyes—in the real wrestling fans’ eyes.”
MJF will get his chance to back up those words during the Casino Gauntlet match at AEW All In 2026. He and Andrade El Idolo will enter at numbers one and two, with the winner earning a future shot at the AEW World Championship.
AEW’s latest Wembley crowd gives MJF plenty of ammunition, but now he has to survive the Casino Gauntlet and prove that the company’s momentum can carry him back into the World Championship hunt.
