The Miz finally managed to snap his ridiculous WWE losing streak, but there’s one pretty big problem — he still hasn’t actually pinned anybody. And according to Miz himself, that means his personal losing streak might technically still be alive.

During an interview with Z100 New York, The Miz was asked about finally putting an end to his extended losing streak. The former WWE Champion admitted that he hadn’t even realized how long he’d gone without winning until someone online pointed it out.

Miz went as far as suggesting his streak could be the longest in WWE history, explaining that he focuses on his most recent performance rather than keeping track of his overall record.

“I I think it’s the longest losing streak that anyone in WWE history has ever been a part of. Uh without even knowing, right? Like I didn’t keep track of it until someone online was like, ‘Hey, does anyone know that The Miz hasn’t won a match in like 2 years?’ And I was like, ‘Wait a second. Is that real? Is that true?’ Cuz I’m going through I’m going through it every every week, right? Like I don’t I I kind of like I have a match and then it it it skips my mind, right? Have a match, skips my mind. Have a match, you’re only as good as your last match. So I’m always thinking about the last match, right? I’m not thinking about the entire year, how I’ve been doing.”

But here’s where things get interesting. Although Miz recently picked up a victory in a tag team match, he admitted that his partner was the one who actually scored the pinfall. That means Miz technically has a win on his record, but he still hasn’t personally defeated an opponent by pinfall.

“And so, yeah, to hear um that and then to literally break I didn’t even pin the guy, by the way. My tag team partner did at the point. So, I won by not even pinning a guy.”

When the interviewer pointed out that he still needed a singles victory, Miz agreed. He even acknowledged that anyone keeping track of his individual wins could argue that the losing streak hasn’t ended at all.

“Yeah, I mean, I still need a solo win. I still need to pin a guy. But, yeah, I guess so I guess that’s still going if you if you’re really keeping track.”

The interviewer then suggested that the losing streak could become something Miz embraces as part of his WWE legacy. Miz wasn’t interested in that idea whatsoever. Despite going through such a lengthy stretch without a victory, he insisted that he’s still competitive and wants to be one of the company’s top Superstars. He also explained that even when he’s booked to lose, his priority remains delivering the best possible match and getting a reaction from the crowd.

“No one wants a streak of losing, okay? No one wants a streak of losing. Everybody wants to win all the time. I’m a person that likes to win. I’m competitive. I want to be the top superstar. So, how do I get there? I just keep on improving each and every time I go out there, no matter what. Whether I’m losing, I’m trying to put forth the best possible match, the best possible reaction from a crowd. So, if it involves me losing, sure. Fine. Why not? Do I want to lose? No.”

After more than two decades in WWE, Miz has accomplished just about everything a Superstar could hope for, including multiple world championship reigns and a WrestleMania main event. But his latest comments make it clear that he’s not satisfied with simply being the veteran who puts everyone else over. He still wants to win, and until he scores that elusive singles victory, there’s going to be a pretty big question hanging over his record.

Do you think WWE should finally give The Miz a meaningful singles victory, or has his lengthy losing streak become part of what makes his character entertaining? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
