Mercedes Moné saw Ric Flair crown his daughter Charlotte Flair the greatest women’s wrestler of all time — and The CEO wasn’t about to let that one slide. Moné jumped straight into the comments with a warning for the Nature Boy, and she even threw his own signature “Woooo” back at him.
Flair made the declaration on Instagram alongside a collage featuring Charlotte, Trish Stratus, AJ Lee, Stephanie McMahon and Moné from her Sasha Banks days. While calling Charlotte the best heel of the group, Flair went a whole lot further and put her above every woman who has ever stepped inside the ring.
“Charlotte Flair is obviously the greatest heel, but actually the greatest female wrestler of all time in the history of women’s wrestling! And God knows I’ve seen them all! WOOOOO!”
Moné, whose photo was sitting right there in Flair’s collage, clearly had something to say about that. She hit the comments with a response that sounded equal parts playful and threatening.
“Do you want to get your ass kicked Ric? Wooooooooo.”
Yeah, Ric might have found the quickest possible way to get The CEO’s attention. There’s no indication this is anything more than Moné having some fun with Flair’s gigantic Charlotte claim, but she definitely wasn’t going to watch her former WWE rival get crowned the undisputed GOAT without firing something back.
Flair has never exactly been shy about declaring Charlotte the best to ever do it, but putting her above Trish Stratus, AJ Lee, Stephanie McMahon and Sasha Banks in the same post was always going to get somebody talking. This time, Mercedes made sure Ric heard from her personally.
