WWE just added some serious weight to the September 7 episode of RAW. Liv Morgan will defend the Women’s World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer, while the show will also feature the fallout from Sunday Night’s Main Event.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce confirmed the plans on September 6 ahead of Monday’s show in Birmingham, Alabama. Morgan vs. Vaquer is now locked in with the Women’s World Championship on the line, giving Vaquer another chance to take the title away from the Judgment Day star.
Morgan has held the title since defeating Vaquer at WrestleMania 42, where help from Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez played a role in the finish. Vaquer has since made it clear that she wants the championship back, setting up another collision between the two.
RAW will also have to deal with whatever goes down at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6. WWE’s first Sunday Night’s Main Event takes place from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, with Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton and Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker among the matches on the card. Pearce has now made it clear that the fallout will carry directly into Monday night.
That won’t be all. WWE previously announced that Money in the Bank qualifying matches will begin on the September 7 RAW, kicking off the race for spots in the men’s and women’s ladder matches. WWE has yet to reveal the full slate of qualifying matchups.
Money in the Bank takes place Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, but RAW now has some major business to handle first. Between Morgan putting her title on the line against Vaquer and whatever chaos spills over from Sunday Night’s Main Event, Monday’s show suddenly has a lot more on the table.
