The “F*ck ICE” chants are back, and they were impossible to ignore this time. During AEW WrestleDream on October 17, 2026, fans erupted into loud anti-ICE chants as Brody King entered the action during the AEW World Trios Championship match, prompting the commentary team to go completely silent.
The moment happened during the opening minutes of the Two-Out-of-Three Falls Match featuring Swerve Strickland and The New Level defending their AEW World Trios Championships against Hangman Adam Page and Brodido.
As soon as King was tagged into the match, a massive “F*ck ICE” chant broke out throughout the arena. The reaction was loud enough that the announcers stopped talking, allowing the chants to be heard clearly on the broadcast. The commentary team didn’t acknowledge what the crowd was chanting.
This wasn’t the first time King has found himself at the center of these chants. The AEW star has been vocal about his opposition to ICE and previously wore an “Abolish ICE” shirt while using merchandise proceeds to support immigrant families affected by immigration enforcement.
The chants first became a major talking point during the February 4 episode of AEW Dynamite, when fans in Las Vegas erupted into the same chant ahead of King’s match against MJF.
That moment got so much attention that AEW referee Bryce Remsburg later admitted he deliberately delayed ringing the bell to give the audience more time to continue chanting.
The reaction didn’t stop there. Fans brought the chants to AEW Grand Slam Australia before another match involving King and MJF. They also interrupted a Brody King backstage segment during the February 18 episode of Dynamite.
More recently, the chants returned during the September 16 episode of AEW Dynamite when King teamed with Hangman Page and Bandido. That reaction was relatively brief, but WrestleDream was a different story.
King has previously addressed the anti-ICE chants and admitted that the crowd response initially caught him by surprise. He also explained that the support made him feel like he “could run through a wall.”
Now the chants have followed King onto another major AEW pay-per-view. What started as a crowd reaction in February has become a recurring occurrence whenever he steps into the ring, and WrestleDream showed just how loud that reaction can get when thousands of fans join in.
What do you think about the massive “F*ck ICE” chants during Brody King’s match at AEW WrestleDream? Should AEW’s commentary team continue letting the crowd reaction speak for itself, or should they address what’s happening? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
