Chik Tormenta’s time with WWE/AAA is over as she is now officially a free agent.
During the RIOT La Riña 4 event, the longtime AAA star surprised fans by announcing that she is no longer with WWE/AAA and is officially a free agent.
Tormenta didn’t go into detail about what led to her departure or where she’ll wrestle next, but the announcement closes the book on a run that began with AAA back in 2018. Even after WWE purchased AAA in 2025, Tormenta remained with the company and continued wrestling under the WWE/AAA banner.
Her last match for the promotion came in May, when she teamed with Faby Apache and Lady Shani against Las Tóxicas—Flammer, La Hiedra and Maravilla.
Over the years, Tormenta became a familiar face in AAA and captured the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship before the company’s transition under WWE. Now, for the first time in years, she’ll be deciding what’s next on her own. With free agency now official, it won’t be long before fans start wondering where she turns up next.
