Logan Paul knew Maxxine Dupri might be heading toward The Vision—but nobody warned him she and Austin Theory were about to start “playing tonsil hockey” in the middle of WWE Raw.
Maxxine officially joined The Vision on the July 6 episode of Monday Night Raw after helping Bron Breakker and Austin Theory defeat The Street Profits for the WWE World Tag Team Championship. With the referee distracted by Logan, Maxxine rushed into the ring and delivered a low blow to Angelo Dawkins. Breakker and Theory capitalized on the opening, captured the titles and celebrated with the group. Maxxine jumped into Theory’s arms and kissed him, making it crystal clear that her relationship with The Vision went far beyond a simple business arrangement.
Speaking on his latest YouTube vlog, Logan admitted he had heard rumblings that Maxxine could become part of the group. However, the kiss caught him completely off guard. Logan then addressed Maxxine and Theory’s kiss, admitting he had no clue the two were about to lock lips on television.
“We got the belts back. The Vision got the belts back, plus it looks like we got a new addition.”
“I may have heard some rumblings. I didn’t know they were going to play tonsil hockey. It’s a crazy industry. Sometimes you don’t f**ing know what the hell is going on.”*
Despite being blindsided by the public makeout session, Logan welcomed Maxxine into the group and said she fits right in with The Vision.
“Anyway, welcome Maxxine Dupri to The Vision. We think you make a great addition.”
Maxxine has already explained that her decision came after months of feeling overlooked and failing to receive the opportunities she believed she deserved. She said Alpha Academy had not been there when she needed support, while Theory was the person who finally chose her. Maxxine made it clear that she was done putting everyone else ahead of herself.
“It’s not personal. It’s about me choosing me, but no one has been choosing me. Literally no one. Austin has chosen me, so I’m choosing him, and I’m choosing Maxxine.”
The Vision walked out of Raw with championship gold, a new member and one kiss Logan Paul will not forget anytime soon. He may have heard the rumors, but the “tonsil hockey” was apparently kept off the group’s official game plan.
