Lillian Garcia is still soaking in newlywed life, and she shared another update about her big moment while walking the red carpet at the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame.
After revealing earlier in the week that she married Patrick Ellrich during WrestleMania 42 week, Garcia confirmed the timing again while speaking to Denise Salcedo at the Hall of Fame. When asked how she was feeling about being there, she made it clear this year’s WrestleMania season feels different for a very personal reason.
“This is great, especially because I got married this week.”
That quick comment served as another reminder that Garcia walked into one of WWE’s biggest weeks as a newly married woman. The wedding took place on April 12, just days before WrestleMania festivities ramped up, turning the entire trip into a celebration that blended wrestling and real life.
During the same red carpet appearance, Garcia also talked about how her relationship with Ellrich first started. She explained that WWE Superstar Xavier Woods played a major role in helping bring them together after they initially met.
“Um, Xavier Woods had a lot to do with it. I mean, we met by chance. Um, but then when he found out or he knew I was—cuz he used to wrestle—he was Xavier Woods tag team partner. And then he when I saw Xavier, he just kind of put the whole thing together and here we are.”
Ellrich backed that up during the conversation, making it clear Woods helped spark their early communication.
“Xavier was a big part of it though, helping helping just connect us and get that initial communication going. It was awesome.”
Garcia also opened up about how the wedding itself turned out after plans for a larger ceremony started becoming overwhelming. Instead of pushing through the stress, the couple chose to scale things down and focus on something smaller and more meaningful.
“Oh my gosh, it was great. It was so intimate. We decided to do something small and intimate and it was so special and it couldn't have gone any better. I mean the weather from everything everything just flowed and then to be able to just like a few days later come to Wrestlemania his first WrestleMania.”
She added that sharing WrestleMania with her husband after his years in wrestling made the moment even more meaningful.
“After him wrestling for 10 years, it makes me feel so happy that I could bring this into his life.”
Garcia’s latest red carpet comments made it clear that this year’s WrestleMania wasn’t just another stop on the WWE calendar — it marked the start of a new chapter in her personal life, all unfolding right in the middle of wrestling’s biggest weekend.
