A small moment between Oba Femi and Bronson Reed on WWE RAW has fans arguing about whether something went wrong during The Vision’s beatdown. Lars Sullivan has now jumped into the conversation, and he thinks people are reading way too much into what happened.
The discussion started after a clip from the September 7, 2026 episode of RAW began circulating on Twitter. During the closing stages of The Vision’s attack on Femi, Reed put his foot on Oba’s back, only for Femi to immediately push it away. One fan warned Femi about how the moment could look, suggesting he didn’t want to develop that kind of reputation this early in his WWE run.
“Oba you do not want that kinda reputation this early please chill.”
That caught the attention of former WWE star Lars Sullivan, who immediately came to Femi’s defense. Sullivan didn’t have particularly kind words for Reed either, arguing that Oba was simply protecting himself in the moment.
“Fat boy shouldn’t be putting his foot on Oba. Oba did a good job protecting himself.”
It didn’t stop there. Another fan claimed Reed had gone “off-script” by putting his foot on Femi’s back and that Oba became legitimately angry enough to briefly break character. Sullivan wasn’t buying that explanation at all. He fired back at the idea that Reed had gone off-script and accused fans of overanalyzing a small physical interaction between the two wrestlers.
“He didnt go ‘off script’. You people are such moronic marks lmao. He did something, Oba did the right thing to protect himself, and now you moron marks are overanalyzing it.”
The moment came after The Vision absolutely overwhelmed Femi on RAW. Oba had arrived during the group’s attack on the returning Otis and initially fought off Austin Theory, Bron Breakker and Reed before the numbers caught up with him.
Breakker eventually hit Femi with multiple Spears, while Reed repeatedly came off the top rope with Tsunamis. The attack followed Breakker claiming earlier in the night that Femi wasn’t medically cleared after Sunday Night’s Main Event and wouldn’t be returning anytime soon.
One quick shove of Reed’s foot was enough to create an entirely different conversation after RAW, but Sullivan sees no backstage drama hiding inside it. As far as he’s concerned, Oba protected himself, Reed didn’t go off-script, and fans turned a few seconds of footage into something much bigger than it was.
