After months of fans wondering when he and Skye Blue might tie the knot, Kyle Fletcher has finally shared where things stand.

While speaking with TV Insider, Fletcher admitted he hears the wedding questions all the time, but said neither he nor Skye Blue feel any pressure to rush into marriage. Instead, the AEW stars are focused on their careers and continuing to grow together before taking that next step.

“Oh, believe me, I’ve been hearing all about it. You know, I don’t want to rush anything. I think we’re both very career focused right now. We’re very focused on developing ourselves as individuals, as human beings, as adults. We’re 26 and 27. We’re still finding our footing in the world.”

Even so, Fletcher made it clear marriage isn’t off the table. In fact, he sounded confident it’s only a matter of time.

“So yeah, we’re just not trying to rush it, and right now, our life is… really, really awesome. It doesn’t feel like there’s a need to rush it, but it will be happening pretty soon, I’m sure.”

The comments come after Skye Blue shared the unlikely story of how their relationship first began. Blue revealed that she and Fletcher first met during an AEW Dark taping in Orlando. Their first interaction happened in an elevator after Fletcher had taken a series of brutal chops during a match, leaving his pale chest covered in red and purple handprints. Billie Starkz jokingly looked ready to chop him again before Blue stepped in, telling her not to because it would be mean.

That awkward backstage encounter eventually turned into one of AEW’s most popular real-life relationships, with the couple now living together and often joking that their love story started because of wrestling.

While Fletcher isn’t putting a date on the calendar just yet, his latest comments leave little doubt about where the relationship is headed. The timing may not be right today, but by his own admission, wedding bells sound like they’re a matter of when, not if.

Do you think Kyle Fletcher and Skye Blue should wait, or would you like to see the AEW couple tie the knot sooner rather than later? Let us know in the comments below.
