Kyle Fletcher has a pretty simple message for anyone who thinks they can fight him and steal Skye Blue away: go ahead and try.
Speaking with Adrian Hernandez, Fletcher was asked about fans who apparently want to challenge him in hopes of winning over his girlfriend. The conversation eventually got to people questioning whether Fletcher can actually fight. He didn’t exactly give them a complicated answer.
“Yes. That is my answer. Try me, mother*******.”
Fletcher and Blue’s relationship has attracted plenty of attention from AEW fans, including the inevitable jokes from people wishing they were in Fletcher’s position. Apparently, some of those jokes have now reached the point where fans are openly talking about fighting him for Skye.
Fletcher clearly isn’t losing any sleep over those challenges. The couple has been together for years and currently lives together, while Fletcher recently addressed all the questions about when they might eventually get married. He admitted he hears about it constantly but said neither of them wants to rush into anything while they’re focused on their careers.
“I think we’re both very career focused right now. We’re very focused on developing ourselves as individuals, as human beings, as adults.”
Marriage still appears to be somewhere in their future. Fletcher previously said he expects it to happen “pretty soon,” even if they aren’t putting any pressure on themselves to make it happen immediately.
Fletcher clearly isn’t too worried about the attention Skye Blue gets from fans or the people joking about challenging him for her. With the two still happy together and Fletcher already talking about marriage being somewhere in their future, he seems pretty comfortable with where things stand.
