Nash Carter was primed for a tag team push alongside Wes Lee on NXT 2.0. The duo even won the NXT Tag Team Championship in a triple-threat tag team match at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. That didn’t last and fans are not happy about this.
Unfortunately, the push came to an abrupt end as WWE released Carter from his contract in the wake of some serious allegations levelled by his estranged wife, Kimber Lee.
The IMPACT star accused Carter of physically assaulting her. Kimber Lee posted a picture of Carter imitating Hitler. She also called out the wrestler and his family for their alleged homophobic views.
Carter’s friend, who goes by the name of Queen E. Marie on Twitter, launched an online campaign to get justice for Carter. Marie is the wife of Carter’s tag team partner Wes Lee. She claims that Kimber Lee was the one doing the real abusing.
Marie has been vocal against Carter’s wife ever since the allegations came to light. She claims Kimber Lee framed Carter and the former NXT 2.0 star is being wrongfully punished.
#JusticeForNashCarter has been trending all day. Marie also revealed that Carter filed for divorce from Kimber Lee and served her papers this past Monday, April 4th. Ringside News is monitoring the situation and will keep you updated.
