As seen on this past week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, NJPW Star KENTA made his appearance at the end of the show, shocking the entire pro wrestling world in the process; where he hit the Go 2 Sleep on Jon Moxley.
KENTA made it clear that he is going to defeat Jon Moxley for the IWGP United States Championship at NJPW Strong on February 26,
A fan recently took to Twitter and uploaded a clip of Jon Moxley cutting a promo during a recent episode of NJPW Strong. In the clip, Moxley said that ‘everybody stole their s*it’ from KENTA.
The KENTA that inspired generations, if you’re around my age, let’s face it – everybody stole their s*it from KENTA.
The most famous example of someone taking moves from KENTA would be CM Punk performing the Go 2 Sleep, which is KENTA’s finishing move. Another instance would be Daniel Bryan’s running knee move, which is also a KENTA used.
KENTA is scheduled to team up with Kenny Omega and face off against Jon Moxley and Lance Archer in a Lights Out tag team match on the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite.
