John Cena is undoubtedly one of the best Superstars to have ever stepped foot inside a WWE ring. He is a 16-time World Champion and was the face of the company for well over a decade. He hasn’t appeared in WWE in well over a year due to his busy schedule in Hollywood.
Last month, John Cena took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of the WWE logo. John Cena is known to post cryptic things on his Instagram and this made fans speculate whether it meant he would return to WWE immediately.
While speaking The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, John Cena was asked about posting the WWE logo last month. John Cena revealed that he posted the logo as Cena was feeling nostalgic.
“Yeah, so I posted that back in May. I was feeling rather nostalgic about WWE and I just wanted to post a logo and some people took it as I was returning immediately which that is not the case. I haven’t had my last match and I can’t wait to have my next match.”
With John Cena expected to make his return to the company next month, it will be interesting to see how the company will book his return in front of a live audience.
