Joe Hendry’s name continues to make waves in the pro wrestling world, proving that his popularity is not just a passing trend. His success has led him to make appearances in NXT, including giving a concert on live television, whenever his name is mentioned. That time on the NXT brand caught the attention of Peacock.
WWE has been hosting its events and programming on Peacock for a while now, and it seems that the NBCU-owned streaming platform will remain their home for the foreseeable future. Joe Hendry, who clearly has a subscription, recently noticed his own face featured on the WWE originals channel.
Joe Hendry took to Twitter, sharing a screenshot of Peacock’s WWE programs. One of them was titled, “Say His Name And He Appears,” showcasing all of his highlights from NXT. Hendry also included a caption to inform fans about how far he has come.
"A @ThisIsTNA Wrestler has his own section on Peacock [2 clapping emojis]"
Joe Hendry still has significant time left on his TNA Wrestling contract, so he won’t be making a full-time jump to WWE anytime soon. In pro wrestling, you can never say never, as WWE might be interested in having a viral sensation like him on their roster. For now, he is only taking on a guest role.
We’ll have to see what the future holds for Joe Hendry in WWE’s NXT brand. They clearly enjoy having him around, and he fits in well with the fan base, as those in the NXT Arena have consistently praised him during every appearance. If anything, it has significantly boosted his name value.
Joe Hendry is not limiting himself to WWE’s NXT brand and TNA Wrestling. His debut with House of Glory Wrestling is also on the horizon. We’ll have to see who says his name next, prompting him to appear, as there are many who believe in Joe Hendry.
