Jim Ross isn’t hiding what brain surgery left behind. Just days after undergoing the procedure, Good Ol’ JR showed fans exactly what doctors had to do to his head.

The WWE Hall of Famer took to Twitter and uploaded a photo revealing the aftermath of his surgery. A large portion of his hair had been shaved away, exposing the surgical scar and stitches across his head. JR didn’t need a long caption.

“The proof is in the pudding!”

The photo comes after Ross underwent brain surgery earlier this week to address excess fluid on his brain. Before going under, JR explained that doctors would drill a hole into his skull and insert a shunt, with a tube running down to his stomach to help manage and drain the fluid.

Thankfully, the procedure went exactly the way everyone was hoping. Conrad Thompson revealed afterward that he had heard from Ross’ daughter and confirmed the surgery was successful.

“Happy to report that our pal @JRsBBQ had a successful procedure this morning! I heard from his lovely daughter this morning that everything went well and good ole JR is expected to be back home by Friday! Please keep JR in your prayers as we hope for a speedy recovery!”

Ross had already been remarkably upbeat about the surgery beforehand. During the August 7 edition of Grilling JR, he admitted he was almost looking forward to getting it behind him despite never having undergone brain surgery before.

Now fans have gotten a pretty graphic look at what getting through it actually involved. The surgery went well and JR is on the other side of it. So, the scar and stitches across his freshly shaved head are simply the proof.
