Jim Cornette has spent years taking shots at Donald Trump, but this time another wrestling name got caught in the middle of it. After Kane publicly welcomed Trump back to Tennessee, Cornette absolutely unloaded on the WWE Hall of Famer in a rant that left nothing to the imagination.
Kane, whose real name is Glenn Jacobs, posted a message welcoming Trump ahead of his visit to Tennessee. It didn’t take long for Cornette to spot it, and once he did, he went straight after Jacobs personally instead of just criticizing the post.
Cornette didn’t just disagree with Kane’s politics—he accused him of selling out for power and finished the post by telling him exactly what he thought.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, here is a formerly admired superstar selling his soul for political power by praising the most repugnant criminal pig that ever walked the Earth. Trump can start wars, have people murdered in the streets, but ‘Hey Suckers, vote for me!’ F*** you Glenn.”
If you’ve followed Cornette over the years, none of this is exactly shocking. He’s never been shy about his opinions on Trump, and he’s gone after plenty of wrestling personalities over politics before. This time, Kane happened to be the one in the firing line after publicly showing support.
Whether Kane responds is anyone’s guess, but Cornette has made it pretty clear where he stands. And judging by how blunt that tweet was, it’s hard to imagine this is the last time he’ll have something to say about it.
