Jey Uso isn’t backing down from critics questioning his push — and now he’s responding directly with a message to those doubting him ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber 2026.
The 2025 Royal Rumble winner addressed the backlash during a recent appearance on ESPN’s First Take, where he made it clear he’s fully aware of the criticism but remains focused on performing at the highest level. Instead of avoiding the negativity, Jey encouraged doubters to see his success firsthand.
“Man, just keep watching your TV screen. Open your laptop up, put your iPad up, iPhone out. I’ll be on there somewhere, Uce. ESPN, Netflix, this Saturday, it’s Elimination Chamber man. Pick one, Uce. I’ll be on there Monday, Friday too. Stay blessed, man, stop hating, man. Come to one of these shows, you might change your vibes. You feel me?”
Jey officially qualified for the Men’s Elimination Chamber match on the February 23 episode of RAW in Atlanta, where he defeated Bronson Reed and El Grande Americano in a Triple Threat match. The bout took on added significance after Reed suffered a legitimate distal bicep tear during the contest, clearing the path for Jey to secure the final spot.
Despite his victory, Jey’s qualification sparked strong reactions online, including a WWE YouTube video of the moment receiving more than 21,000 dislikes. However, Jey’s momentum inside WWE remains strong, with live crowd reactions and merchandise sales continuing to rank among the top in the company.
Now, Jey is preparing for one of the biggest matches of his career as he enters the Elimination Chamber this Saturday at the United Center in Chicago. He will face Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, LA Knight, Trick Williams, and Je’Von Evans, with the winner earning a Undisputed WWE Championship match against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
Jey Uso has made it clear that criticism won’t slow him down. Instead, he’s embracing the spotlight and inviting fans to witness his rise firsthand as he looks to punch his ticket to WrestleMania’s main event stage.
