Je’Von Evans isn’t wasting time just enjoying the ride in WWE — he’s already thinking about how to chase down records held by some of the biggest names in the business.
During an appearance on the Ringer Wrestling Podcast, Evans talked about how seriously he takes his career and why he’s already focused on long-term goals instead of just living in the moment. Even while having fun, he made it clear that breaking records is something he believes is within reach if he keeps building the right way.
While discussing his mindset and career ambitions, Evans explained that learning he had time to chase major milestones completely changed how he looks at his future in WWE.
“For sure. I feel like personally, like when it comes to um when it comes to like, you know, business and like my career, like I take that maybe a little way too serious. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. Because like I love having fun of course but like like I got stuff I don't want to do, you know what I mean? I got goals I want to accomplish, you feel me? So I knew from the get-go like once once I learned that I was able to break a intercontinental championship record, I was like, ‘Oh, like I literally have enough time.’ Then of course like the Randy Orton record, then the Brock Lesnar record, like he won the day championship at 25, you know what I mean? I got I have time, you feel me, to to build and learn about myself and break more than one.”
By bringing up Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar, Evans showed he’s paying attention to history and understands exactly what kind of timeline he’s working with. Those are huge names to measure yourself against, but Evans sounds confident that time is on his side if he stays focused.
Je’Von Evans isn’t just thinking about the next match — he’s thinking about the kind of legacy he wants to leave, and if he keeps stacking wins and opportunities, those record books could end up looking very different in a few years.
