Jasmin St. Claire isn’t buying Paige’s airport scare. The former ECW personality told Paige to “relax” and claimed the collector who tracked her flight probably wasn’t going to hurt her.
St. Claire fired back on Twitter after Paige revealed that a collector bought an airline ticket to get through security and wait at her connecting gate in Chicago. Paige said the man knew her flight information, connection and landing time before showing up with around 30 photos.
St. Claire responded by sharing her own experience with someone who obtained her home address. She said the man worked for the electric company and sent her birthday cards and flowers until she confronted him.
“Relax snowflake… someone had my actual home address. Turned out he worked for the electric company. He sent me birthday cards, flowers, etc. I had someone have a talk with him when he showed up at an appearance. And he stopped. I highly doubt this fan will kill you, lol.”
Paige’s issue wasn’t simply that someone wanted an autograph. She said the collector went out of his way to obtain her private travel information and purchase a ticket just to reach her gate.
“This guy bought a ticket to go through to meet me at my connecting gate, so he knew my flight, he knew where I was connecting through, and he knew what time I was landing, which is so fucking weird. It’s too far.”
Paige also made it clear that there are proper places to approach wrestlers. She told collectors to attend WWE events and scheduled meet-and-greets instead of tracking talent to airports, hotels and connecting gates.
“We have meet-and-greets. We tell you where we’re going to be at the arenas. Come to the arena, come to a meet-and-greet, but don’t turn up at my hotel, don’t turn up at my connecting gate, and even so, don’t turn up at the airport, because a lot of wrestlers hate that.”
St. Claire clearly thinks Paige overreacted, but Paige isn’t backing down from the boundary she set. Wanting an autograph is one thing—buying a plane ticket and tracking someone’s private travel schedule is another.
