Jade Cargill already has her sights set on making more history in WWE, and she knows exactly who she wants standing in her corner if that opportunity ever comes.
While speaking with 8 News Now in Las Vegas ahead of WrestleMania 42, the WWE Women’s Champion was asked about the legacy of Chyna and whether she would consider following in her footsteps. Chyna famously broke barriers by winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and Cargill admitted that idea absolutely interests her if the chance ever comes. After confirming she would pursue that path, Cargill went a step further and revealed the exact manager she would want guiding her through that kind of run.
“Of course, if they let me… and listen, I would love Paul Heyman to be my manager if I’m going that route. But if they let me, I would love that and I would take over for sure. Of course.”
The interviewer then pointed out that pairing Cargill with Heyman would be next-level, suggesting the combination could elevate her even further if she ever stepped into the Intercontinental Championship picture. Cargill didn’t hesitate to embrace the idea, making it clear she’s fully behind the possibility of that alliance becoming reality.
“Let it happen, guys. Let it happen.”
Cargill’s comments come at a time when WWE continues to evolve the role of women across the roster, with more discussions about expanding opportunities beyond traditional women’s titles. With Chyna’s legacy still looming large in WWE history, Cargill openly expressing interest in following that path — and doing it alongside someone like Paul Heyman — adds another layer of intrigue to her long-term future.
For now, Cargill remains focused on WrestleMania 42, where she is set to defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley in one of the biggest matches of her career. Still, her willingness to step into historically significant territory suggests she isn’t just thinking about the next match — she’s thinking about the next legacy.
