Jade Cargill had a rough night on SmackDown this week, and she is at least finding a way to laugh about it.

During the June 12 edition of WWE SmackDown, Cargill competed against Charlotte Flair, Lyra Valkyria, and Sol Ruca in a Fatal Four-Way match in the Queen of the Ring tournament. Charlotte ended up winning the match after Tiffany Stratton interfered and took Cargill out of the picture, but the finish wasn’t the only thing fans noticed.

Earlier in the match, Flair and Cargill battled on the top rope before Charlotte connected with a huge superplex. When Flair landed, her shoulder came down on Cargill’s hair, which caused Cargill’s wig to get pulled hard and come off her head. Cargill quickly put it back on, but she spent the rest of the match keeping one hand on top of her head to make sure it stayed in place.

After the match, Cargill took to Twitter and admitted that the wardrobe mishap was basically her worst fear coming true. Still, she joked that she survived it, even if her wig came out as the real winner: “yall. Biggest fear happened tonight and I think I’m still alive. My wig won though. 😩”

The moment quickly became one of the most talked-about parts of the match, especially because Cargill had to keep wrestling while also making sure her hair stayed secure. It was the kind of live TV mishap nobody plans for, but Cargill handled it and kept going.

Between Tiffany Stratton costing her the match and the wig incident playing out in front of everyone, Jade Cargill had a lot to deal with on SmackDown. Still, her reaction showed she wasn’t taking herself too seriously, and that may have helped turn an embarrassing moment into something fans could laugh about with her.
