Jacari Ball has a message for anyone saying he’s copying Daejon Love — he says they’ve got it completely backwards.
The WWE ID talent saw the comparisons and claimed Love was the one who stole his playbook. Ball responded on Instagram after Ringside News covered his “WWE Swindler” comedy bit, tagging the outlet directly and making sure nobody missed his point. He wasn’t finished either. Ball followed that up by joking that Love was simply the one who got caught.

That’s right in line with how Ball has handled this whole thing from the beginning. His original Instagram video showed him playing an over-the-top WWE hustler character, bragging about expensive cars, an injury check and getting money sent his way. Ball even gave himself a nickname while leaning into the Daejon Love comparison.

Love is the 35-year-old man federal prosecutors have accused of posing as a San Francisco 49ers player as part of a romance-and-investment scheme that allegedly took around $1.3 million from at least 26 women. Love and 18-year-old Taylor Jamie Chan have been charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and wire fraud. A criminal complaint is only an accusation, and both are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
Ball’s posts are clearly being played as comedy, not an admission that he is actually scamming anyone. But once people started saying he was pulling a Daejon Love, Ball had the comeback ready — according to him, Love stole the whole damn method.
Ball didn’t dodge the comparison. He grabbed it, flipped it around and basically told everyone they had the order wrong.
