Fallon Henley isn’t the only WWE star who’s had enough.
Just days after the newly crowned WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion went viral for warning fans to keep their hands off wrestlers, Ivy Nile found herself dealing with the exact same problem.
New footage making the rounds online shows Nile heading to the ring for her WWE Main Event match against Thea Hail when a fan suddenly reached out and grabbed her by the arm.
Nile’s reaction was instant. She yanked her arm away, turned toward the fan and fired back with an angry shout before continuing to the ring. Although she didn’t stop walking, it was obvious she wasn’t about to let the moment slide.
The timing couldn’t be more ironic. Only a few days ago, Fallon Henley had her own run-in with a fan after Fatal Influence captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at Saturday Night’s Main Event inside Madison Square Garden. As the group celebrated on their way backstage, a fan reached out and made contact with Henley, prompting her to whirl around and yell, “Don’t touch me!”
She doubled down after the show with a message that quickly spread across social media: “Don’t touch the wrestlers. Period.” Now, before that conversation has even had time to cool off, another clip has surfaced showing another WWE wrestler being touched by a fan during her entrance.
Whether it’s excitement or fans simply trying to get a reaction, moments like these continue to raise the same question every time they happen: where should the line be drawn between interacting with a performer and invading their personal space? Judging by Ivy Nile’s reaction, that line was crossed.
